By using NotYet (the “App”), you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use the App

You must be at least 18 years old. The App is currently offered in the United States. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your device secure.

2. Your account

You sign up with a phone number and choose a username. Give accurate information and don't use another person's number. You can delete your account at any time inside the App.

3. How connections work

You connect with someone by scanning each other's one-time QR codes in person. You can mute, block or disconnect from anyone. Disconnecting removes the connection permanently, and the only way to reconnect is to scan each other's codes again.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm anyone.
• Send illegal content, or sexual content involving minors, in any form.
• Impersonate others, or use the App for scams, spam or commercial solicitation.
• Try to break, reverse engineer or bypass the App's security or its safety features.
• Use the App if you have been banned.

5. Screenshots

The App tries to prevent screenshots, and may tell the other person if one is taken. This protection cannot be guaranteed. Please respect other people's privacy.

6. Reporting and bans

You can report another user. When you report, you agree to send the reported chat to us in readable form for review. We may suspend or ban accounts, including by blocking the device, for breaking these terms. Reports and ban records may be kept after an account is deleted.

7. Premium subscription

NotYet is free to use. Premium is an optional, auto-renewing subscription at $1.99 per month that unlocks extra profile customization. It is billed through Apple or Google and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings. Premium never changes who you can connect with. See our Refund Policy.

8. Your content

Your messages and media are yours, and they are stored on your device, not on our servers. You are responsible for what you send. You give us only the limited permission needed to relay your encrypted content to the people you chat with.

9. Our rights

The App, its name, design and software belong to us. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes under these terms.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We cannot guarantee that it will always work or be free of errors. We are not responsible for the behavior of other users. Please use good judgment when meeting people, and meet in public places.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make important changes we will post them here and update the date above. Continuing to use the App means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
